D-chiro-Inositol is an inositol differential isomer found in certain mammalian glycosylphosphatidylinositol protein anchors and inositol phosphoglycans with insulin-like biological activity.
D-chiral inositol (DCI) is one of the nine isomers of inositol with cyclicity.
